Most of my adult life I was unhealthy of both body and mind. A heavy smoker, with a terrible diet and tendency to binge drink. I had no way to manage my mental and physical heath, I was suffering.

This all changed when I discovered the power of Wim Hof Breathing, cold exposure and mindset.

Making Changes

I grew up in Northern Ireland in the 80’s and 90’s, which was something of a hostel environment for a young person. I had to learn very quickly how to adapt to my surroundings, saying the wrong thing or wearing the wrong clothes could have dyer consequences. In my teenage years and into my 20s I went of the rails, drinking too much alcohol and not taking care of myself. Over time this starts to take its toll. By my early 30’s I was suffering, I was physically and emotionally unwell. I knew I had to do something. I found the energy to stop smoking after 20 years and started to use my lungs again through some intense physical exercise. During this time I also discovered the Wim Hof Method and it was then that everything changed.

Within 3 weeks of practicing Wim Hof Breathing and cold exposure everyday, I was a completely different person. No longer did I find myself drifting into bouts of intense panic over the smallest of inconveniences. No longer was waking up in fear of what the day would bring. No longer was I at the mercy of my overactive mind… suddenly I was in control again.

A year later, after 100 of hours of breathwork, many many cold showers, ice baths and cold water swims in the dead of winter I decided to put this practice to good use, to show other how to do it.

Helping others

I am on a mission to show you that you CAN transform your life. We do not have to continue to repeat the same patterns of old. By following our breath we can do things we previously thought impossible. The journey can be tough, it can take us into our fears and worries… But, it it in these moments that we realise just how powerful we are.
