Touching the Threshold
A Mythic Breath Experience
Touching the Threshold is a mytho‑somatic* space for those who feel the exhaustion of seperation, from their own body, from the people around them, and from any real sense of meaning.
This is a hearth to gather round. We weave breath, body and story together to acknowledge that you’re not an isolated problem to solve, but part of a larger web of relation.
What to expect
We use breathwork, embodiment, and myth to shift our attention into something beyond the surface of daily life.
Embodiment Practice – We begin by locating the body's current weight. Through direct somatic sensing, we shift from the narrative of the mind to the reality of physical presence. This is the work of grounding the vessel before the weather changes.
Myth – I will share an ancient story woven into the theme of the journey. This isn’t just a story to hear, but a landscape to inhabit, offering us a way to connect to wisdom of the natural world and those who came before us.
Breathwork – The core of the session uses rhythmic, connected breathing to ease you into a gentle altered state of awareness. This creates a bridge to the parts of our being that are usually hidden by the noise of modern life
You’ll be guided step by step through the experience.
Create a comfortable, undisturbed space where you can sit or lie down (yoga mat, cushion, blanket).
Headphones will add to the experience, but they are not necessary.
This will be a deep yet accessible practice, come as you are, ready to explore what is awakening within you.
The session will be recorded and available to listen to if you cannot make it live. What was adjusted
This month we explore....
The tide is coming in, and it brings its own gravity.
This month, we are breathing with Irish Sea God Manannán Mac Lir. We are looking at his Crane Bag,
This is the vessel that holds the treasures of the gods but only reveals them when the water allows. It is a weight that cannot be hurried or lightened. It must simply be carried.
We will use the breath to find the boundary where your personal history meets this older, colder undercurrent.
Embodiment: Tracking the physical tax of carrying what is not yours.
Myth: The Cor Bolg/ The Crane Bag, an ancient story that lets us feel the tide’s pull.
Breath: A conscious withdrawal from the labor of performing, rest into the waters of the unseen.
What people say...
Not sure how he does it but he does... Brian's sessions made me feel safe enough to let go, be honest, and true with myself.
These sessions are genuinely game changing for me, I come away calmer, clearer, and more connected.
"Brian is one of the most beautiful, exceptional breath facilitators… he holds space like very few people can.”
