Touching the Threshold

A Morning of Breath, Myth, and Rest.

A 3‑hour workshop connecting breathwork and power of story

I’m exhausted… what now?"

You move through the world with the lights still on, yet somewhere inside, something is quietly dimming.

You carry the weight of days, responsibilities, and expectations, while the ground beneath you begins to feel uncertain.

Modern life asks us to move faster and feel less. This gathering is a gentle refusal of that rhythm.

A space to let the noise fall away, loosen the mask of performance, and breathe deeply enough to remember something ancient and steady beneath it all.

27th Sept | 11am - 2pm | The Well, Bangor

The Invitation

This is an invitation to put down the heavy, invisible labor of keeping it all together.

There is a depth of tiredness that a normal night’s sleep barely touches, the weight of constantly being 'on,' being useful, and being what everyone else needs you to be.

We gather to use the most basic tools we have, our breath, our bodies, and the old stories of this land

We make space for a radical kind of rest: yhe kind where you finally stop holding yourself up and let something else take the weight.

What to expect

Embodiment: We begin by simply noticing the body as it is, without trying to fix or change anything. Through gentle movement and sensing, we locate where we are standing and let the body settle into the room.

Myth: I will speak an ancient story into the space. These are not just tales; they are maps. We use them to move our attention away from personal problems and into a wider, more enduring landscape.

Breath: Using a rhythmic, connected breathing technique, we transition into a deep state of internal focus. This is a guided, safe process that allows the nervous system to let go of its grip and reveals what is already waiting in the quiet.

Who is this for?

This is for the tired, the curious, and those who feel a quiet pull toward something more substantial than the daily grind.

You do not need any experience in breathwork, meditation, or mythology.

You only need the willingness to sit in a circle and breathe.

It is for those who sense that their exhaustion might actually be a longing for a deeper connection to the world around them.

The Venue: The Well

The Well, on Quarries Farm, Bangor, is a place where ancient wisdom meets modern understanding.

Rooted in nature, born from experience, crafted with intention.

The Well is your sanctuary in the forest for reconnection.

A quiet space to remember what it feels like to come back to yourself.

About your guide

Hi, I’m Brian. I’m a father, a husband, an artist, an educator, and I'm approaching my 10th year as a facilitator of conscious work.

I also spent over a decade in the arts and academia before realising the most important work happens when we drop our titles and come back to breath, body, and real presence.

My conscious work, is about building small, held containers where people can safely meet the depth of their own experience. I don’t offer fixes; I offer a grounded, compassionate space for you to find what you need.

I’ve worked across breathwork and somatic traditions, guiding 100's of people into gentle altered states where emotional and bodily shifts unfold.

I’ve trained deeply in breathwork, somatic practice, and trauma‑informed coaching, and completed a multi‑year mentorship in relational and mythic work.

My training includes intensive programmes in breath‑based and body‑centred approaches, as well as a year‑long immersion in myth, somatics, and ritual practice, all of which feed directly into how I hold space today.

All of it has shaped how I work, not just in theory, but in lived experience.

My spaces are built with care, study, and a lot of life lived.
