Touching the Threshold
A Journey into MYTHO-SoMATIC Practice
Touching the Threshold is a Mytho‑Somatic journey for those who sense they were never meant to carry life alone. Each session weaves breathwork, embodied connection, and story, inviting you to remember your place within the wider web of relations we call a life
What to expect
This session is a guided journey into the intersection of body and story. We use breathwork, embodiment, and myth to move beyond the surface of daily life and connect with the quieter, more essential parts of ourselves.
Embodiment Practice – We begin by settling into the felt-sense of the body. Through gentle somatic guidance, we shift from the analytical thinking mind into a space of direct feeling and presence.
Myth – I will share an ancient story woven into the theme of the journey. This isn’t just a story to hear, but a landscape to inhabit, offering us a way to connect to wisdom of the natural world and those who came before us.
Breathwork – The core of the session uses rhythmic, connected breathing to ease you into a gentle altered state of awareness. This creates a bridge to the parts of our being that are usually hidden by the noise of modern life
You’ll be guided step by step through the experience.
Create a comfortable, undisturbed space where you can sit or lie down (yoga mat, cushion, blanket).
Headphones will add to the experience, but they are not necessary.
This will be a deep yet accessible practice, come as you are, ready to explore what is awakening within you.
The session will be recorded and available to listen to if you cannot make it live. What was adjusted
The Returning Light
Meet the rhythm, thats already here
Growth and decay. Light and darkness. The earth was never meant to live in only one season
Persephone descends into the underworld each year, and each year she returns.
Not unchanged, but carrying the depth of where she has been. When she rises, the frozen ground softens.
Light stretches further across the sky. Life begins to stir again. The equinox, the moment when darkness and light meet as equals.
In this practice we’ll move with that rhythm: awakening the body, welcoming the return of energy, and gently planting the seeds of what wants to grow in the season ahead.
Not forcing spring.
Just breathing with the cycle that is already turning.
Gentle altered states of consciousness
Working with gentle altered states of consciousness through conscious connected breathing opens a gateway to deep self-discovery. Through rhythmic, flowing breath, the mind softens and the body lets go, allowing emotions to surface and be gently processed. In this state, clarity emerges, creativity awakens, and insights rise from the depths of your being like whispers from the soul.
For thousands of years, our indigenous ancestors have used altered states—through breath, movement, and ceremony—to connect with deeper wisdom and the natural world. The subtle beauty of Breathwork lies in its grace and ease, offering a safe, yet profound way to explore inner landscapes. Each breath becomes a bridge to intuition, a balm for stored tension, and a doorway to spiritual connection, inviting transformation and renewal with every inhale and exhale.
